List Serve Mission

The EH-Nurse electronic mailing list is dedicated to supporting nursing professionals seeking accurate, timely and credible scientific information on environmental health and nursing. This interactive and dynamic resource seeks to foster the development of a "virtual nursing village" for the sharing of teaching strategies, practice guidance and consensus on future research needs for nursing and environmental health. The ultimate goal is to prevent environmental disease by increasing the numbers of nursing professionals who can recognize environmental etiologies and risk factors of disease; promote health through risk reduction and control strategies; and empower individuals, families and communities by through partnering, advocacy and education.

The listserve is moderated by the faculty and staff at the Environmental Health Education Center at the University of Maryland School of Nursing. If you wish to post something to the listserve please email it to enviRN@son.umaryland.edu
